Holophonics! Old invention rediscovered

A friend newly introduced me to a special kind of stereo recording called “Holophonic audio”. And the recording is impressive indeed! It almost sounds like you were actually there.It records the events based on how you would recieve the audio if you were there at the scene. It was invented and patented by a italian in the 80s. I heard that Some album by Michael Jackson and Metallica used holophonics.
